It worked quite well for some months, but the last 3-4 months I’ve been having quite a few issues.
First I tested Cobook (an app in Mac App Store), it fetches pictures etc. from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and so on. Bad idea, because it pulled the birthdays of all my Facebook contacts.

Linux and UNIX

Welcome to my Linux page. If you’re going to make music on your computer, you’re most likely (but not necessarily) going to need some sort of a sequencer program (or other program to handle loops and/or MIDI). There is many sequencer programs on the market. So which program should you choose? There is no easy answer to that question. The answer depends on many questions. I just upgraded from OpenSolaris’ developer build 133 (snv_133) to OpenIndiana’s first build (oi_147).
I followed the [instructions](http://wiki.openindiana.org/oi/Installing+or+Upgrading #InstallingorUpgrading-UpgradingfromOpenSolaris) found at the OpenIndiana Wiki. There’s a link to there from the OpenIndiana Download page.
So first i added/changed to the legacy repo/publisher and upgraded from snv_133 to snv_134, without any problems. And then I switched to the OpenIndiana developer repo/publisher and did another “pkg image-update -v”, and it all went flawless.

Nisus Writer Pro Tip: Same Page Section Breaks

2010-05-27 22:07 Filed in: [Computer Geek](https://luminated.net/files /category-computer-geek.html)
Nisus Writer Pro continues to impress me. I had a small bug and contacted support. I quickly received a reply with a nice workaround. In the same support request I mentioned a feature request.
The request was well received, but I also received back a suggestion of an alternative way of achieving what I wanted: A simple way of splitting some text into columns.
